Birthphotography
Eric Holm of Omroep Zeeland was the first in the media that knew I was doing something new in the Netherlands (and Belgium). So before Editie NL and the Belgian newspaper contacted me, he phoned to ask if he could make a documentary about birth photography. One of the things he wanted was to come with me to the first meeting with parents (and even more he wanted to shoot during childbirth, but that wasn’t possible 🙂 ). Ilonka and Joost wanted to do a birth session at that moment and Isabel was still doing well in her moms belly, so that was possible!
The first part of this documentary is therefore more than a month ago. I was so nervous then! I did not know what I had to expect and was anxious on my bike on my way to Ilonka and Joost. These nerves were immediately gone when I met Eric! A super relaxed man with a lovely chat! (http://www.holmproducties.nl/) The rest of the documentary was therefore very relaxed. The camera was not there, it was just nice to talk to Eric. And if there is something I can do very well it is to talk 🙂
It became a nice documentary (in Dutch)! I’m very happy with it! And Ilonka and Joost: thank you!
